This beautiful light pink beaded feather hair tie has been hand made by Wendy West. A Cherokee Indian who is a member of the Qualla Arts and Crafts. An organization that preserves and promotes the traditional arts and crafts of the Eastern Band of Cherokee. Turkey feather with beads of light pink, yellow, orange and red with zig zag lightning symbol detail. The zig zag symbol represented lightning which is strongly associated with the Thunderbird and was believed to add power and strength to one who wore it. Golden rawhide at the end with beads of pink, red, orange and yellow  to tie onto hair. 

Uses: Ceremonial use, to smudge or tie in hair.
